28.09.2016 – According to project developer cetus Development the construction of the 24-storey wooden Skyscraper HoHo Wien will start on October 12th on a 4000 sqm property in Seestadt Aspern, a massive housing project of Austrias Capital City.

Contractor announced

After one year since HoHo got building permit cetus Development also announced the building contractor, which is Handler Bau from Bad Schönau. Handler qualifies in building with concrete also as in building with wood with its affiliated specialist company Handler Holzbau in Neutal.

Regional products favoured

The facade of the 84 m tall building will be delivered by Züblin Timber, a Strabag Company. For now, cetus Development did not announce any other contractors like suppliers for CLT (Cross Laminated Timber) and Gluelam. Caroline Palfy from cetus said, that negotiations are ongoing with several producers. Regional suppliers will be favoured.
